Historical record was set in Haitong's Taicang Terminal
A new historical record was set in Haitong's Taicang Terminal: 6,587 units loaded in just 48 hours onto Höegh Traveller.
The loading is recorded as the highest loading volume for one single vessel in the 20 years history of Shanghai Haitong, the area in which the Taicang Terminal is located.
Höegh Traveller arrived in Taicang on the 9th of September and departed on the 11th of September, 2022.
Höegh Autoliners currently has six Horizon vessels that can carry up to 8,500 cars and cargo weighing up to 375 metric tonnes, making them the largest PCTC vessels presently sailing the seas. These majestic 200-meter-long vessels were built using state-of-the-art technology and are 40% more fuel efficient than a standard car carrier.
